Gas / suspected leak

Gas smell, suspected escape or carbon monoxide.

Smell gas or suspect carbon monoxide?

Great Britain: call 0800 111 999 immediately. Northern Ireland: call 0800 002 001. Do not wait for your energy supplier. If there is fire, explosion, collapse or immediate danger to life, call 999 as well.

Gas emergencies go straight to the National Gas Emergency Service, not your billing supplier. The tables below show the regional gas networks — all use the same 0800 111 999 emergency line in Great Britain.
